Lina Itagaki now is an illustrator, comics artist and publisher. In 2003 she received a bachelor degree of international economy at the International Christian University in Japan and worked as Japanese language translator and international company manager. Then she decided to learn to draw and in 2014 received a bachelor degree of graphic art at Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Siberian haiku was her first illustrated book and the most successful one. In 2021 Lina illustrated 3 more books for children, one of them NUKAS (publisher Tikra knyga, text by Audra Baranauskaitė) received the award of Lithuanian Artist Union at the Book Art Contest and IBBY Lithuania award. Now Lina is working on another historical graphic novel for children and will publish it on her own as a publishing house “Misteris Pinkmanas”.
