Raibīs (Oskars Orlovs)

Raibīs (Oskars Orlovs) is a Latgalian poet, playwright and musician. Latgalian is a Baltic language spoken by 150,000- 200,000 people mainly in eastern Latvia. Latgalian is attracting growing attention, not only in Latvia but also in translation. Raibīs’s poetry is published in The Last Model (Francis Boutle Publishers), translated into English by the versatile and multi-lingual translator of Baltic languages, Jayde Will.
