Raphaela Edelbauer

Raphaela Edelbauer is a novelist, playwright and essayist living in Vienna. Her five published books have won several prizes, including the prestigious Ingeborg-Bachmann-Prize. Her novel The Liquid Land (Scribe, 2019) was shortlisted for the German Book Prize, longlisted for the Austrian Book Prize and published in English, translated by Jen Calleja. Her second novel Dave (2021) won the Austrian book prize.
