Artem Chapeye

Artem Chapeye is a Ukrainian writer, journalist, translator and photographer, author of fiction and creative non-fiction and based in Kyiv. He has published two novels and four non-fiction books and has been a five-time finalist for the BBC Ukraine Book of the Year Award. His writing has appeared in several international publications including The New Yorker. He has received fellowships from the Central European Initiative and the Paul Celan Programme and serves on the board of PEN Ukraine.
