Carolina Pihelgas

Carolina Pihelgas is an Estonian poet, writer and translator. Her poetry collection The Light within the Stone won the Estonian Cultural Endowment Award. She has worked for Estonia’s leading literary monthly Looming since 2021, and in 2026 she became the magazine’s new editor-in-chief. Her short novel The Cut Line (2024) received the first ever Women’s Prize for Fiction in Estonia and is her first work translated into English.
